From Jacob and Amanda

Hello to all,

First of all we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers for Noah. He is a strong, little boy and is in good spirits. His test has come back positive for Tay-Sachs, and we will be keeping you posted on news as we know it. Here is a web-site that we have been looking at and would like to share with you if you have desire to look at it.

I am sorry but the website is www.ntsad.org

We are still praying for Noah's healing and continue to ask that you join with us in this prayer. Please share this letter with others.

Thank you,

The Henderson's

Belinda - our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. I looked again this morning at the pictures of Noah's first birthday party. I must admit that since we have a little girl about that age, something about Noah has grabbed hold of my heart and won't let go. We will continue to lift you all up to our Lord - I am also going to send the prayer request along to our congregation's daily prayer notes that are sent out every day by email to hundreds of our members, along with a link to your blog if that is OK. God's peace to you, Amanda, Jacob and all.
Phil

Belinda,
I wish there were words that could express what the heart wants to say...because I certainly know that no earthly language can convey what I wish I could share with you from my heart! I have kept Jacob, Amanda and their two precious children in prayer...as I have for you and Billy. I don't know what it's like to face the potential loss of a child or a grandchild...but I do know what it's like to feel like you are being pressed down upon and cannot get out from under the weight of what keeps coming. I've experienced a lot in my 23 years on this earth, and I'm sure that there will be still more that God will allow me to walk through with Him. I want you to know that I love you, and that I will keep praying for everyone involved. God is always there, as you well know!

The title of this post says so much about you and your family's faith. I'm so glad that you are able to keep that truth close to your heart as you endure this trial.

I love you all and will be praying for you.

I wish the test results were wrong, that is not what I wanted to hear, but then I guess it finally answers all the questions.
Now you know what Noah is facing, and we can pray accordingly.
Our hearts and prayers are with your whole family, we all care and God loves you and cares for you more than you can imagine.
We will all lean on Him,
Celia

My little daugther has Tay Sachs.
My heart goes out to you .... it takes a while for this all to sink in. You can find another great support group with the Cure Tay Sachs Foundation that a bunch of us parents started about a year ago. We have raised $500,000 and are funding research. Read the family stories section of the site.... we are all family now it seems.

Call me if I can help you in any way. 562-212-1071 Rick
